The Teremok restaurant concept was founded in Russia where the restaurant is a popular Russian fast food chain specializing in blini — crepes filled with sweet or savory fillings. Founded in 1999, there are now 175 units in Russia. And in early 2016, the first American outpost opened at 358 Seventh Avenue. Two years ago CNN ranked Teremok eighth among the world’s best fast food chains outside the US. Last year, USA Today listed Teremok among the “Top ten foreign fast food chains we want in the USA.” Beyond the blini, the current menu in Russia features porridge and soups such as borscht and fish broth.

Veronique San Leandro

Teremok Art Series Exhibition Featured Artist - September 3- 30, 2016

Veronique San Leandro - informed by 40.000 years of homo sapiens culture. A Spaniard born in France at the time when the photon band was first spotted by satellite. Traveled the world & a New Yorker since 1989. Masters in Psychology & in Spanish and Latin-American literature. Eastern medicine studies, a Carlos Castaneda apprentice. Trained in non-dualistic approaches to reality. A painter and a teacher with love for transcendence, the DNA and the idea of a holographic universe, for what Alejandra Casado, Nassim Haramein, Jacques Fresco, David Hoffmeister, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, and Jose Luis Parise have to say… for a dark starry night in isolated nature with myself, my love or my loved ones. Movies, Casablanca, The Matrix, and Dersu Uzala. Poets, Rumi, Giannina Braschi. Landscape, Les Gorges du Toldra. Painters, Rothko, Kandinsky, Matisse, Cy Twombly, Louise Bourgeois, Milton Avery, Phillip Guston, Basquiat, Turner. Fascination for finding the answers. Singers, Lou Reed, Amy Whinehouse, Southern Blues and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. I live and work aiming for freedom. My studio, my mind for wherever I am that's where reality lies. I primarily use acrylic paint on canvas and paper, collage and lots of pen and pencil on paper.

From an early age & amidst the tempest I developed this urge to seek for understanding. The search quickly pointed to the mind. I majored in Psychology & delved into the perennial wisdom traditions & Sciences. Many & profound were the experiences & sources I drank from that kept guiding my search. After the mind the next crucial concept became the one of identity slowly transpiring as the master key. To know the mechanics & the physics of our being is the formula back to freedom. From a scientific point of view the recent discovery of The Universal Law of Unfolding Time by French astrophysicist Jean Pierre Garnier Malet has provided the blueprint to the Dimensionality of the universe & of us humans as part of It. Alejandra Casado has made further developments & applications of this law regarding the integration of our concrete & abstract multidimensional nature, existence itself. The eventual full understanding of how the Universe works will revolutionize human affairs. My artwork as an experiential map of an individual’s journey through Time.
